1st Annual Classic Rock & Blues Party
Roadhouse Band was a real hit at the 1st Annual Classic Rock & Blues Party. The party was to have been held in support of the C.A.P.E. Crusade (Cycling for Abuse Prevention Everywhere) undertaken by Manley Lavender and Marc Girard - two great guys who just wanted to ride to Ottawa to raise money for CCAA. Unfortunately, during training they were hit by a truck and trailer and sustained injuries that made it impossible for them to accomplish their goal this year.
So, the 1st Annual Classic Rock & Blues Party became the "party that happened for the event that didn't" and it was the "best time we never had."
